The following terms of service (these “Terms of Service”), govern your access to and use of the WQT Masjid website and mobile application, including any content, functionality and services offered on or through www.WQTMasjid.com or the WQT Masjid mobile application (the “Site”) by WQT – Worldwide Quran Thinkers (herein after referred as WQT). WQT is a registered non-profit charity based in Ontario, Canada with the purpose to advance the Islamic faith by researching and studying the Quran, by providing classes and translation services to individuals interested in studying and learning the Quran; by carrying out welfare in the communities in light of the Quran through a lens of social inclusion and civic responsibility and to do all such things as are ancillary and incidental to the attainment of this charitable purpose. WQT Masjid is a project by WQT whose purpose is aligned with the charitable purpose of carrying out welfare in communities through a lens of social inclusion and civic responsibility. WQT, WQT Masjid or any of WQT’s partners, affiliates, or subsidiaries, for the purpose of WQT Masjid, are collectively referred hereto as “WQT Masjid” “we” or “us” and “you” or “user” means you as a user of the Site.

Please read the Terms of Service carefully before you start to use the Site. By using the Site, opening an Account, subscribing to any of the services or products offered it as a user, listing yourself as volunteer, listing any of your products or services as volunteer or by clicking to accept or agree to the Terms of Service when this option is made available to you, you accept and agree, on behalf of yourself or on behalf of your employer or any other entity (if applicable), to be bound and abide by these Terms of Service and WQT Masjid Payment Terms, found here (“Payment Terms”), which is incorporated herein by reference. You further acknowledge, you have read and understood our Privacy Policy, found here. If you do not want to agree to these Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy, you must not access or use the Site.

This Site is offered and available to Subscribers who are at least 18 years of age and of legal age to form a binding contract. If you are under 18 and at least 13 years of age, you are only permitted to use the Site through an Account owned by a parent or legal guardian with their appropriate permission. If you are under 13 you are not permitted to use the Site or the WQT Masjid services. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the foregoing eligibility requirements. If you do not meet all of these requirements, you must not access or use the Site

The original language of these Terms of Service, as well as all other texts throughout the Site, is English.

Key Terms

Subscribers are users who use WQT Masjid Site, either as those who use the Volunteer services (Users) or those who post such services (Volunteers).

Volunteers are Subscribers who volunteer and perform services through their Volunteer page on WQT Masjid.

Users are Subscribers who are not Volunteers.

Account is a collaborative account for each Subscriber, created via WQT Masjid Site, as detailed on WQT Masjid Terms of Service (available here).

Custom Offers are exclusive proposals that a Volunteer can create in response to specific requirements of a User.

Custom Requests are requests made by a User to receive a Custom Offer from a Volunteer.

Volunteer Services are services, products, hours, skills, etc. as offered on WQT Masjid by Volunteers under any of the defined categories.

Volunteer Fee is the fee charged only to the Volunteers. There is no Fee for those who want to use or take benefit from these Volunteer Services.

Overview – Main terms

Only registered Subscribers may request and use Volunteer Services on WQT Masjid. Registration is free for the Subscribers.

By using this website, you agree to have read and understood the Terms and Conditions as well as the Privacy Policy of WQT Masjid and hold WQT Masjid harmless against all actions, loss, damages, claims and penalties arising from any breach by the User of the Terms and Conditions, access and/or exploitation of the website.

In registering for an Account, you agree to provide us with accurate, complete and updated information and must not create an Account for fraudulent or misleading purposes. You are solely responsible for any activity on your Account and for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your password. We are not liable for any acts or omissions by you in connection with your Account.

Volunteers on WQT Masjid are recommended and strongly urged to offer their Volunteer Services, free of cost, i.e., without charging anything to the subscribers and hence these services must be offered free of cost.

Users can opt for these Volunteer Services.

Volunteers must fulfill their Requests, and may not cancel Requests on a regular basis or without cause. Cancelling Requests will affect Volunteers’ reputation and status.

Volunteers gain higher review ratings based on their performance and reputation, and thus would be shown in the Reviewed Volunteer Services section on the Home page of WQT Masjid.

Subscribers (Both Users and Volunteers) must not offer or accept payments through WQT Masjid.com.

WQT Masjid retains the right to use all Volunteers Services and listed Services for WQT Masjid marketing and promotion purposes.

Subscribers undertake to comply with WQT Masjid’s community Standards, which are a set of behavior rules and guidelines, applicable to the WQT Masjid community.

WQT Masjid does not handle or guarantee any exchange of money, cash, or shipping between the Volunteers and Users. WQT Masjid is not responsible for any services, transactions or money transfers or exchange of any sort. Every Subscriber, either as a Volunteer or a User, has to do their own due diligence and comply with these Terms and Conditions. Some Non-Permitted Usage of the WQT Masjid Site

WQT Masjid is an open to everyone online Volunteering Platform. Every subscriber, whether as volunteer or user, undertakes not to discriminate against any Subscriber, User or Volunteer of this forum based on gender, race, age, religious affiliation, sexual orientation or otherwise you acknowledge that such discrimination may result in the suspension/removal of your Account.

Volunteers and/or Users may be removed by WQT Masjid Site for violations any Community Standards, which may include (but are not limited to) the following violations and/or materials:

• Illegal or Fraudulent services
• Copyright Infringement, Trademark Infringement, and violation of a third party’s terms of service reported through our Intellectual Property Claims Policy found here
• Adult oriented services, Pornographic, Inappropriate/Obscene
• Intentional copies of other Volunteers
• Spam, nonsense, or violent or deceptive Volunteers
• Volunteers misleading to Users or others
• Reselling of regulated goods
• Offering to prepare academic works on behalf of Users or others
• Exceedingly low-quality Volunteers
• Promoting WQT Masjid and/or WQT Masjid Volunteers through activities that are prohibited by any laws, regulations, and/or third parties’ terms of service, as well as through any marketing activity that negatively affects our relationships with our Subscribers or partners.
• Rude, abusive, improper language, or violent messages will not be tolerated and may result in an Account warning or the suspension/removal of your Account.
• Promoting content, which violates WQT Masjid’s Terms of Service and/or our Community Standards.
• Discrimination against any fellow human being or indulging in any act that discriminates against any Subscriber, User or Volunteer of this forum based on gender, race, age, religious affiliation, sexual orientation.
• Adult Services & Pornography – WQT Masjid does not allow any exchange of adult oriented or pornographic materials and services.
• Inappropriate Behavior & Language – Communication on WQT Masjid should be friendly, constructive, and professional. WQT Masjid condemns bullying, harassment, and hate speech towards others.
• Phishing and Spam – Subscribers’ security is a top priority. Any attempts to publish or send malicious content with the intent to compromise another Subscriber’s Account or computer environment is strictly prohibited.
• Privacy & Identity – Please respect our Subscribers privacy by not contacting them with offers, questions, suggestions or anything which is not directly related to their Volunteers or Requests. You may not publish or post other people’s private and confidential information. Any exchange of personal information required for the completion of a service must be provided in the User Page. Volunteers further confirm that whatever information they receive from the User, which is not public domain, shall not be used for any purpose whatsoever other than for the delivery of the work to the User.
• Authentic WQT Masjid Profile – You may not create a false identity on WQT Masjid, misrepresent your identity, create a WQT Masjid profile for anyone other than yourself (a real person), or use or attempt to use another user’s Account or information; Your profile information, including your description, skills, location, etc., while may be kept anonymous, must be accurate and complete and may not be misleading, illegal, offensive or otherwise harmful. WQT Masjid reserves the right to require Subscribers to go through a verification process in User to use the Site (whether by using ID, phone, camera, etc.).
• Fraud / Unlawful Use – You may not use WQT Masjid for any unlawful purposes or to conduct illegal activities.
• Abuse and Spam- To prevent fraud and abuse, Subscribers are limited to one active WQT Masjid Account. Any additional Account determined to be created to circumvent guidelines, promote competitive advantages, or mislead the WQT Masjid community will be disabled. Mass Account creation may result in disabling of all related Accounts.
• Targeted Abuse – We do not tolerate Subscribers who engage in targeted abuse or harassment towards other Subscribers on WQT Masjid.

VOLUNTEERS

Basics

Volunteers list their services, products, skills, hours, etc. as Volunteer Services on WQT Masjid to allow Users to opt for and use their services.

Volunteers may also offer Custom Offers to Users in addition to their Volunteer Services.

WQT Masjid is open to everyone. You undertake not to discriminate against any Subscriber, User or Volunteer of this forum based on gender, race, age, religious affiliation, sexual orientation or otherwise you acknowledge that such discrimination may result in the suspension/removal of your Account.

You may not charge any fee or price for your Volunteer Services that you offered on WQT Masjid. Please keep in mind that WQT Masjid is a volunteering platform and the Volunteer services are offered here free of cost to the Users.

Each User who successfully completes the provision of your Volunteer Services accredits your Account with a review and add to ‘the people/household served’ numbers on your dashboard.

The Volunteer’s rating is calculated based on the User reviews posted by Users. High ratings allow Volunteers to be shown as highly rated volunteer services on the WQT Masjid Site. In certain cases, exceedingly low ratings may lead to the suspension of the Volunteer’s Account.

For security concerns, WQT Masjid may temporarily disable a Volunteer’s ability to offer or post their Volunteer Services to prevent fraudulent or illicit activity. This may come as a result of security issues, improper behavior reported by other Subscribers, Users or associating multiple WQT Masjid Accounts to a single provider.

Volunteers are responsible for obtaining a general liability insurance policy with coverage amounts that are sufficient to cover all risks associated with the performance of their Volunteer services.

Volunteer Services as created on WQT Masjid are User Generated Content created by the relevant Volunteers.

Volunteers that are removed for violations as per the above section titled “Some Non-Permitted Usage of the WQT Masjid Site” may result in the suspension of the Volunteer’s Account.

Volunteers that are removed for violations are not eligible to be restored or edited.

Volunteers may be removed from our Search feature due to poor performance and/or user misconduct.

Volunteers containing websites promoting content, which violates WQT Masjid’s Terms of Service and/or our Community Standards, will be removed.

Volunteers are required to have an appropriate Volunteer image related to the service offered. Volunteers must deliver the same quality of service as shown on their Volunteer images. Recurring deliveries that don’t match the quality shown on the Volunteer images may lead to the Volunteer’s Account losing Volunteer status or becoming permanently disabled.

Volunteers may contain an approved Volunteer Image or multiple images as uploaded through the Volunteer management tools available on WQT Masjid.

Statements on the Volunteer Page that undermine or circumvent these Terms of Service is prohibited.

WQT Masjid is open to everyone. You undertake not to discriminate against any Subscriber, User or Volunteer of this forum based on gender, race, age, religious affiliation, sexual orientation or otherwise you acknowledge that such discrimination may result in the suspension/removal of your Account.

Volunteer Subscription

WQT Masjid is a community volunteering platform and is all about helping Volunteers leverage and promote their Volunteer Services, while at the same time be able to give back to their communities. We seek to empower the Volunteers who opt for Volunteer Membership or Featured Volunteer Services with helpful tools to grow their business, while at the same time be able to give back to their communities by being socially responsible through a lens of social inclusion. Volunteers who invest in self-promotion as socially responsible ones may achieve higher philanthropic gratification as well as greater customer satisfaction and reach. And, if they deliver on time and maintain high quality and ratings, WQT Masjid would stand with them with new statuses, special opportunities, benefits, and tools that come with it. On the other hand, those Volunteers who cannot maintain their high-quality service, experience a severe drop in ratings, or stop delivering on time risk losing their Volunteer status and the benefits that come with it.

Shipping Physical Deliverables

Some of the services on WQT Masjid are delivered physically (Donations, etc.). For these types of Volunteers, Volunteers may decide to define a shipping pricing factor.

Volunteers that include a shipping pricing factor must have physical deliverables sent to Users.

Shipping costs added to a Volunteer only pertains to the cost Volunteers require to ship physical items to Users.

Important: Users who opt for any Volunteers that require physical delivery, will be asked to provide a shipping address.

Volunteers are responsible for all shipping arrangements once the User provides the shipping address.

WQT Masjid does not handle or guarantee any shipping, tracking, quality, and condition of items or their delivery and shall not be responsible or liable for any damages or other problems resulting from shipping. A tracking number is a great way to avoid disputes related to shipping.

USERS

Basics

You may not offer payments to Volunteers through the WQT Masjid platform, since this is a Volunteer Resources Centre. All the Volunteer Services here, should be offered to you free of cost. Please report any violations of this here https://wqtmasjid.com/contact/.

Users may request a specific service from the Post a Request feature. Services requested on WQT Masjid must be an allowed service as per these Terms and Conditions and as per the defined categories. Please see the categories link and description for guidelines on WQT Masjid approved services.

Users should refrain from using the Post a Request feature for any purpose other than looking for services on WQT Masjid as per these categories.

WQT Masjid is open to everyone. You undertake not to discriminate against any Subscriber, User or Volunteer of this forum based on gender, race, age, religious affiliation, sexual orientation or otherwise you acknowledge that such discrimination may result in the suspension/removal of your Account.

Using Volunteer Service

This is a volunteering platform, hence Volunteer Services offered here should be free of cost. Please report any violations here https://wqtmasjid.com/contact/.

In addition, Users can request a Custom Offer which addresses their specific requirements, and receive a Custom Offer from Volunteers through the site.

You may not offer Volunteers to pay, or make payment for any services offered or used as posted on the WQT Masjid.com site. In case you have been asked to pay, please report it immediately to Customer Support here https://wqtmasjid.com/contact/.

Reviews

Feedback reviews provided by Users while completing the use of any Volunteer Services are an essential part of WQT Masjid’s rating system. Reviews demonstrate the Volunteer’s overall experience with the Volunteers and their service. Users are encouraged to communicate to the Volunteer any concerns experienced during their use in regards to the Volunteer Service provided by the Volunteer.

Leaving a User’s feedback is a basic prerogative of a User. Feedback reviews will not be removed unless there are clear violations of our Terms of Service and/or our Community Standards.

To prevent any misuse of our Feedback system, all feedback reviews must come from legitimate use of Volunteer Services as offered and executed exclusively through the WQT Masjid platform from users. Uses arranged, determined to artificially enhance Volunteer ratings, or to abuse the WQT Masjid platform with use from additional Accounts, will result in a permanent suspension of all related Accounts.

Feedback comments given by Users are publicly displayed on a Volunteer’s page.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

• In the event of disagreement with the Terms, Subscriber, whether as Volunteer or as User, is not authorized to visit, access, offer and/or use any Volunteer Services via WQT Masjid.
• WQT Masjid reserves the right to modify, suspend or cease certain or all parts on the website at any time without prior notice. Subscriber’s continued visitation and/or use of organisation services will constitute agreement to comply with updates.
• Use of WQT, WQT Masjid or any of the company’s name or related services for personal, commercial or any other reason is strictly forbidden. WQT Masjid holds the right to take legal or required action against the Subscriber.
• Feedback and suggestions provided by the Subscriber will be taken as non-confidential and WQT Masjid has the right to use it in any manner it believes appropriate.
• We encourage our Subscribers, Users and Volunteers to try and settle conflicts amongst themselves.
• Volunteers donating their time and services can register with WQT Masjid through the volunteer registration form provided within the website. WQT Masjid has the right to accept or not accept volunteers.
• At the time of registration, Volunteer shall confirm that the required information provided is current, accurate and complete. Volunteers are also required to update their personal details or other changes with WQT Masjid, whenever applicable.
• Volunteer shall agree to serve only as a volunteer and no association of an employer and employee will be maintained between WQT Masjid and them as well as between any of the Users or Subscribers. Claim for employment and/or internship and /or any associated risks of such arrangement will not be entertained by WQT Masjid during or after the expiry of their Volunteering services.
• Volunteer are expected to keep the users of their Voluntary Services private and confidential. Additionally, if Volunteer comes across any confidential social, medical, personal and/or financial information about a User, strict confidence must be maintained.
• Volunteer shall acknowledge the possibility of unknown and unforeseen risks while volunteering and accept that WQT Masjid cannot guarantee their safety at any time of their service.
• WQT Masjid adheres to a strict non-discriminatory policy to ensure that Volunteer cannot deny any individual access to and/or be discriminated against in any service program due to race, faith, culture, religion or other factors. Volunteers are strictly advised not to participate in such offenses as it will result in instant dismissal from the program. The website of WQT Masjid is strictly based on social inclusion and basic human rights for every member of the community and discrimination of any sort will not be tolerated.
• WQT, WQT Masjid, any of its directors, employees, representatives, partners, licensors, associates or subsidiaries, does not provide any guarantee and is not responsible for any services, transactions, money transfers, shipping or exchanges of any sort. All Subscribers, Users and Volunteers have to do their own due diligence.
• WQT and WQT Masjid does not guarantee the behavior, conduct, safety, suitability or ability of either Users or Volunteers. Both Users and Volunteers agree that the entire risk arising out of their use or performance of these Volunteer Services remains solely with them, and WQT, WQT Masjid, any of its directors, employees, representatives, partners, licensors, associates or subsidiaries has no responsibility or liability related to any Volunteer service provided by the Volunteers.
• In the event that the service is performed on either the User’s or the Volunteer’s premises, the premise owners are encouraged to maintain proper insurance policies to cover their liability as the premise owner.
