With over 15 years of unwavering commitment to the fitness industry, Laura transitioned from a career in hospitality to pursue her true passion. Armed with a degree in psychology, she embarked on her fitness journey as a Fitness Kickboxing Instructor. Over the years, she accumulated invaluable training and certifications from Fitness Kickboxing Canada, Arco Training Systems, and Boxing Ontario. 2017, she achieved a milestone by founding her fitness haven, Bishops Power Kickboxing & Fitness.

At Bishops Power Kickboxing & Fitness, she found her calling – coaching, mentoring, and nurturing the growth of individuals. Her role includes coordinating comprehensive fitness programs and providing hands-on guidance to groups and individuals, focusing on enhancing strength, flexibility, and overall conditioning in a stimulating, enjoyable, and supportive atmosphere. For her, the pursuit of challenge and enjoyment must go hand-in-hand, and she wholeheartedly seeks to establish personal connections with all she has the privilege of working with.

Laura’s contributions are instrumental to the running success of Grimsby Senior Care Connect Program.

Her efforts have facilitated strong bonds among seniors, fostering a network of mutual support and camaraderie. She believes fitness knows no age limit, and has helped seniors discover their physical potential while promoting mental and emotional well-being. Her dedication to seniors extends beyond fitness. She actively works to create a vibrant and inclusive community where seniors can thrive and enjoy life to the fullest. This sense of community is vital for their overall well-being.
